AI (program) definition

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a kind of software or system that either simulates intelligence like a brain or personality, or acts as an information processor that learns or responds intelligently for a specific task or subject. AI can be built in more conventional programs, such as games, to adapt to the end user's needs or for more human-like responses. In general, AI learns, is flexible and can process information in dynamic ways like humans, thus seemingly adjusts its own code or behaviour. However many "AI"s are very primitive and do little more than recognise speech, images and patterns.
